I made the decision to buy this for my 99 Dakota RT because when I originally upgraded the sound system I had no where to put my 12" sub so it ended up just sitting on the bench seat behind the passenger. Stopping and going would cause the sub to rock back and forth making it a nuisance and it generally looked ugly and took up space.
